Oil on porcelain? Never heard of that before! Anyone know how that works? Guessing from the painting must give great clarity of colour and translucency . . . .
Jane- Yes it is very translucent, the bisque color of the porcelain shows through the layers of glazes. Its kinda like the flemish oil painting technique. -Alison Oakes
